Emily and James’s wedding at the beautiful Lodore Falls Hotel in Keswick Lake District'sDistrict was so beautiful! Set right by the shores of Derwentwater, Lodore Falls Hotel has a perfect mix of natural beauty and modern comfort, ideal for those wanting a laid-back wedding (with a little spa access of those post-party hangovers).

The day began in the hotel’s stylish suites, where Emily got ready surrounded by her friends, Lodore Falls Hotel provided them with both a stunning view to start their day, with its location surrounded by mountains and the lake creating a naturally peaceful backdrop.

Their ceremony took place in the hotel’s Derwent Suite and afterward, everyone moved to the hotel terrace for a drinks reception with more views over Derwentwater and onlookers from the spa enjoying their confetti moment!

For their meal, Lodore Falls offered a feast inspired by the region. Guests enjoyed seasonal Cumbrian dishes, each course showcasing local flavours and ingredients. After their wedding breakfast, we took a short stroll down to the lake for a handful of couples to make the most of the views, and for the couple to enjoy some time to themselves, away from the hustle and bustle of their guests.

As evening fell, Emily and James returned to the terrace with their guests to party the night away! Lodore Falls Hotel was a perfect choice for their Lake District wedding, capturing everything Emily and James wanted! A blend of modern elegance, earthy nature, and authentic Cumbrian charm.
