Beautiful Herford barn wedding venue

Dewsall Court is an idyllic, one-of-a-kind 17th Century estate that offers splendid seclusion and luxurious escapism for weddings. Dewsal court is a truly exclusive use venue nestled within the breathtaking Herefordshire countryside. Dewsall Court has 12 acres of beautiful grounds that make for wonderful wedding photos, as well as a restored 17th-century house, a modern barn conversion, an ancient Church, plus luxurious accommodation for you and your wedding guests to enjoy as if it was your own!

Sophie & Jim had a stunning wedding day at Dewsall court; Sophie used to be a PA, so the wedding day was extremely well organised, even though a covid postponement. Sophie and Jim enjoyed a wonderful wedding morning in the Dewsall house, getting ready with their nearest and dearest, followed by a barn ceremony, lawned drinks reception, and a wonderful evening back in Dewsall Court's stunning barn for dinner and dancing!

Beautiful Hereford barn wedding ceremony

Sophie and Jim chose to say their vows in Dewsall Courts Barn. After a short walk down from the main house with bridesmaids in tow, Sophie made her big entrance with dad helping her down the aisle. Sophie and jim chose to write their wedding vows and read them to each other with so much passion during their wedding ceremony. There were even a few tears from Jim, followed by a glorious first kiss. After the wedding ceremony, we headed back up to Dewsall Courts main house for a Lawned reception - it was due to rain heavily. However, the weather was amazingly kind held out long enough for their guests to make the most of Dewsalls Gardens and for us to take a short stroll around the estate's grounds for wedding pictures.

Dewsall Court wedding reception - dinner and dancing!

After their lawned reception, Sophie and Jim returned to the barn, which had been expertly turned around by Dewsall Court's staff. With rustic vibes and beautiful greenery, the barn looked utterly stunning. There were also a few finishing touches, such as a memorial table with candles for those who couldn't make it, a photo wall full of happy memories, flip flops for post-dinner dancing, and the cutest little wedding cake toppers of Sophie and Jim's pets. The wedding dinner consisted of sharing plates and a fabulous wedding BBQ, which I was lucky enough to enjoy.

After dinner, we had a little time for a cocktail of two by Dewsall court's fire pit, a little wedding exercise in the form of a bouquet toss, followed by tears in the first dace while the band played. Soon after, the ties came off, and the shots came out! I loved this Dewsall Court wedding and can't wait to return. I've listed the wedding suppliers for the day for anyone interested at the bottom of the post.
