Firstly I'm guessing you're here because you're engaged? Huge congratulations to you both! I also suppose you're in the throes of planning the wedding and looking for the right person to capture it? Well, that's perfect! Let me tell you a little bit about me and how I work so you can decide if that's me. My wedding photography style is all about capturing the natural flow of your day—no cheesy over-staged rubbish. Sounds good so far? Don't worry, there's more! I often find that the best wedding photos aren't really about perfect focus or high quality, but more about how the image makes you feel and the story the picture tells. As a creative documentary style photographer, I aim to capture your wedding day journey and how you, your friends, and your family react throughout it. In a way that is natural, relaxed, and most importantly, fun! If you think that sounds perfect for you then I'm happy to say that you're in the right place.

I think that booking your wedding photographer is a huge deal, and I want you to be sure that I am the right person for you before reaching out. Please have a good look around my website, get to know me - have a stalk of me on instagram, and after you have dug around, if you think we would be a great match, then do not hesitate to get in touch. I want to hear about YOUR wedding plans and how I can create images that you'll treasure forever. Head over to my portfolio to discover more about my documentary approach to shooting weddings, view my work, and find out if I'm the right photographer for you.

Lake District & Cumbria wedding photography

I'm primarily a Lake District wedding photographer, and I love it! I mean, honestly, it's pretty easy to see why the National Park is one of the most popular places for couples to tie the knot. There's no shortage of unique places nestled within the landscape to celebrate your union! With plenty of stunning waterfronts, rolling hillsides, and local produce to enjoy and share with your friends and family, It's no wonder that people from all-over treat the Lake District as a destination wedding location. After all there aren't many places where you can say "I do" then walk along a jetty to enjoy a boat cruise across the water for your reception! Cumbria also boasts a wide variety of venues, including stately homes, rustic barns, contemporary hotels, castles, forest tipi's, and even log cabins. Something for everyone! When I'm not busy shooting brides and grooms in the lakes, I'm often trying my best to explore the landscapes with my camera, sharpening my skills and scouting for new locations. That all sounds great, I hear you say - "But I'm NOT getting married in the Lakes?" Well, that's okay too! As much as I pride myself on local Cumbrian weddings, I genuinely love getting to explore and travel all over! My love for wedding photography has enabled me be to visit some amazing places. Essentially - I'm saying that I'm more than happy to travel throughout the UK, and internationally to work with couples that think I'm the right wedding photographer for them.
