Micro-wedding joy overlooking Lake Windermere
Cragwood Country House Hotel is nestled on the shores of England's longest and most beautiful lake! Set in its own secluded, twenty-acre estate of beautiful landscaped gardens and woodland, the Cragwood boasts stunning gardens leading down to the shores of Lake Windermere through a patch of woodland towards their adorable boat house! They even offer boat cruises after you say I do. Instead of a full meal, quirky afternoon tea is often served as your wedding breakfast. I must admit my sweet tooth is pretty rampant, so I always enjoy a little slice of cake with guests too.
Hannah & Scott Microwedding at the Cragwood
Hannah and Scott were always planning a micro-wedding at the Cragwood Hotel. So their plans didn't change too much because of the pandemic! There were still ups and downs along the way like many couples have faced recently, and for a while, we were uncertain it would even go ahead. The Hotel did a fantastic job of ensuring their day was still amazing. They arranged for them to hold their ceremony outdoors on the lawn and enjoyed most of the celebrations outside too!
